ATLAS Arcana is a playful orientation of the CTD program and the ATLAS building as an isometric video game that utilizes mixed interface puzzles to create a sense of community for students. All the art is original, developed by myself and my co-designer Jack Manning. It is to be featured in the 2024 ATLAS Expo as a capstone project.

A Fantastical Fantasy Tower Defense is a tower defense game created entirely in Unity. This includes everything from target tracking to path following to a GUI system.
Blood in the Roots
Blood in the Roots is a two player competitive board game where competing wizards perform dark magic to win a tree growing competition. The game has players placing workers around town to try to collect evil ingredients and then place them within their tree. The game combines worker placement, puzzle solving, and a push your luck system all into one!
Loco-Potion is an alternative arcade game where two players race around a "kitchen" collecting magical items to use in potions. This Overcooked-inspired game features all original game art and sound developed by myself and co-designer Zack Baker.
Get Lost - The Collaborative Maze Game
Get Lost - The Collaborative Maze Game is a game that requires 2 players, the driver and the navigator, who must work together to navigate a maze. This game utilizes Arduino and P5.js to map arcade-style buttons and a custom-built 64 LED grid to generate mazes and player positions. This game was featured in the ATLAS Institutes 2023 Expo. You can find a link to the Instructable for this project here!
T.I.M.S. (Tim and the Interdimensional Missile Scenario)
T.I.M.S. is an original roll and write game that has the player poking holes through their paper to save Tim. On the run from the evil “Interdimensional Army”, adventurer and spaceman Tim is struck with a new interdimensional missle. This grants him the power to step through interdimensional rifts created by these same missles. To continue his journey, he must jump between dimensions to collect all the parts of his spaceship while avoiding more portal creating missles.
RotoRush is a one-button game made in Unity in a timeframe of 2 weeks. It features a main menu, a full tutorial, and 3 levels of increasing difficulty. It also utilizes post-processing for the bloom effect.
Phone Pong
Phone Pong is an alternative arcade version of the classic game Pong, where the user controls the paddle by dialing numbers and speaking (or yelling) into a comically large phone. The software side of the game was created in Unity and the hardware side uses a Teensy to convert a microphone into a keyboard press.
Rats & Reconnaissance
Rats and Reconnaissance is an original game created using only a standard deck of cards. Stuck in the midst of an all out war, the Rat Pack has a devious plan to finally get the cheese from their long time rival, the Cheese Master. Little do the rats know that the cheese master came prepared by laying out hidden traps for the rats. Unfortunately, he has also forgotten where the traps are, and the rats are persistent. Willing to do whatever it takes to get the cheese, will the Rat Pack finally trump the Cheese Master?
