ATLAS Arcana is a playful orientation of the CTD ​program and the ATLAS building as an isometric video ​game that utilizes mixed interface puzzles to create a ​sense of community for students. All the art is ​original, developed by myself and my co-designer ​Jack Manning. It is to be featured in the 2024 ATLAS ​Expo as a capstone project.

A Fantastical Fantasy Tower Defense is a tower ​defense game created entirely in Unity. This includes ​everything from target tracking to path following to ​a GUI system.


Blood in the Roots

Blood in the Roots is a two player competitive board ​game where competing wizards perform dark magic ​to win a tree growing competition. The game has ​players placing workers around town to try to collect ​evil ingredients and then place them within their tree. ​The game combines worker placement, puzzle solving, ​and a push your luck system all into one!

Loco-Potion is an alternative arcade game where two ​players race around a "kitchen" collecting magical ​items to use in potions. This Overcooked-inspired ​game features all original game art and sound ​developed by myself and co-designer Zack Baker.

Get Lost - The Collaborative Maze Game

Get Lost - The Collaborative Maze Game is a game ​that requires 2 players, the driver and the navigator, ​who must work together to navigate a maze. This ​game utilizes Arduino and P5.js to map arcade-style ​buttons and a custom-built 64 LED grid to generate ​mazes and player positions. This game was featured ​in the ATLAS Institutes 2023 Expo. T.I.M.S. (Tim and the Interdimensional Missile ​Scenario)

T.I.M.S. is an original roll and write game that has the ​player poking holes through their paper to save Tim. ​On the run from the evil “Interdimensional Army”, ​adventurer and spaceman Tim is struck with a new ​interdimensional missle. This grants him the power to ​step through interdimensional rifts created by these ​same missles. To continue his journey, he must jump ​between dimensions to collect all the parts of his ​spaceship while avoiding more portal creating ​missles.

RotoRush is a one-button game made in Unity in a ​timeframe of 2 weeks. It features a main menu, a full ​tutorial, and 3 levels of increasing difficulty. It also ​utilizes post-processing for the bloom effect.

Phone Pong

Phone Pong is an alternative arcade version of the ​classic game Pong, where the user controls the ​paddle by dialing numbers and speaking (or yelling) ​into a comically large phone. The software side of the ​game was created in Unity and the hardware side ​uses a Teensy to convert a microphone into a ​keyboard press.

Rats & Reconnaissance

Rats and Reconnaissance is an original game created ​using only a standard deck of cards. Stuck in the ​midst of an all out war, the Rat Pack has a devious ​plan to finally get the cheese from their long time ​rival, the Cheese Master. Little do the rats know that ​the cheese master came prepared by laying out ​hidden traps for the rats. Unfortunately, he has also ​forgotten where the traps are, and the rats are ​persistent. Willing to do whatever it takes to get the ​cheese, will the Rat Pack finally trump the Cheese ​Master?

Utilized in a Data Structures course which involved ​projects surrounding a variety of data management ​structure.

Generative AI

Taken a course on Generative AI where I completed ​six projects including analyzing and using prompt ​engineering such as text-to-text, text-to-image, ​text-to-audio, and text-to-video. I also participated ​in four activities and discussions with four ​researchers and four industry professionals exploring ​future AI technologies and ethics studies within ​education and industry.

Python

Used in a Discrete Structures class to solve problems ​and create simple programs to complete tasks.

Used in a web development course to develop an ​accessible website. This also includes API connections ​and GitHub management.

Used in a Statistics course to solve various stats ​based math problems in a group project.

Developed in a Principles of Programming languages ​course. This involved discovering and implementing ​fundamental computer science ideas to build my own ​Lettuce language.

I teach and manage a class of 25 students, guiding ​them through multi-week projects using Figma or ​design principles such as empathy, journey mapping, ​and product storytelling. I also grade assignments ​and lead students through fifteen assignments about ​Design fundamentals and basic Figma.

Equipment Room Manager - CU Boulder ATLAS ​Institute

I manage an inventory of 334 pieces of equipment ​including a variety of cameras, microphones, and ​other related equipment to ensure an efficient and ​manageable checkout experience for students and ​facilities of the ATLAS program. I also created ​training materials and personally trained one other ​personnel to operate the program and the space.

SASE Public Relations Intern - CU Boulder SASE

I worked actively on a PR team of three people ​creating promotional materials and operating the ​organization's LinkedIn page. I also worked on four ​collaborative designs with other organizations such ​as AAEIO and SHPE to create unique and compelling ​posters and social media posts resulting in two ​successful events with over 400 participating ​members. Our AAPI New Year Event, which I helped ​create graphics for, was also awarded the CU ​Boulder Cultural Event of the Year Award.

custom scripts to solve complex challenges in C#.
